Walking in the sun, in the wonderful grounds of Palais de la Berbie and the incredible Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, on a warm February day, one looks across the majestic river Tarn, and at the finely scrolled hedgerows of the ornamental garden. Albi is indeed a magical town. Well worth visiting is the Restaurant Tête de l'Art with a truly French ambiance of Brassens and other folk singers. Looking for somewhere to stay? - look no further than the Hôtel Saint-Clair, in quiet, tidy rooms in a friendly unpretentious hotel within a few footsteps of the Cathedral and Museum. See more about Albi on the river Tarn, near Toulouse
